Role Overview:

Employees involved in SayPro Monthly January SCMR-13 will be responsible for managing the end-to-end printing process. This includes selecting durable materials, coordinating with printing vendors, ensuring brand consistency, and overseeing the entire production process to deliver high-quality printed materials for the SayPro Monthly January issue.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vendor Coordination:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with printing vendors to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
    • Evaluate and select printing vendors based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and capacity to meet deadlines.
    • Review vendor proposals, contracts, and quotes to ensure they align with project expectations and budget.
    • Negotiate and finalize contracts with printing vendors, ensuring terms are favorable for SayPro.
  2. Material Selection:
    • Collaborate with the SayPro Marketing and Design teams to choose materials that reflect the premium quality and durability required for SayPro Monthly.
    • Select materials that are not only durable but also align with the SayPro brand image and standards.
    • Ensure that chosen materials (e.g., paper types, inks, coatings) are capable of withstanding environmental factors and maintaining a high-quality finish over time.
    • Work closely with the SayPro Brand Material Office to ensure that all materials meet the brand’s guidelines and specifications.
  3. Design Oversight and Brand Consistency:
    • Review design concepts and ensure they meet SayPro brand standards before they proceed to print.
    • Ensure that all printed materials maintain visual consistency with SayPro’s established aesthetic and branding guidelines.
    • Work with designers to resolve any issues that might arise during the design-to-print transition.
  4. Printing Process Management:
    • Oversee the entire printing process, ensuring that production timelines are adhered to and that the final products meet quality standards.
    • Monitor the quality control process during printing, ensuring that any issues are promptly identified and addressed.
    • Ensure the printing process uses the most advanced printing technology to achieve superior results.
    • Track the production timeline to guarantee on-time delivery of printed materials.
  5. Quality Control and Final Product Evaluation:
    • Perform regular checks of the printed materials throughout the production process.
    • Conduct post-production evaluations to ensure all materials meet SayPro’s quality standards, including checking for color accuracy, paper texture, and finish.
    • Oversee packaging and shipping logistics to ensure that the printed materials are delivered in pristine condition.
  6. Problem Resolution:
    • Address any issues that may arise during the printing process, such as delays, quality discrepancies, or material shortages.
    • Work proactively with vendors to identify and resolve any problems before they impact delivery schedules or product quality.
  7. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain thorough records of vendor communications, contracts, production schedules, and quality control checks.
    • Provide regular updates on the status of the printing process to the SayPro Marketing Manager.
    • Document lessons learned and best practices for future SayPro Monthly issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in vendor coordination, printing process management, or similar roles within the print or marketing industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of printing technologies and material selection.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Familiarity with SayPro’s branding and marketing standards.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

Working Environment:

This position will involve working within the SayPro Brand Material Office, with occasional travel required to printing facilities or vendor meetings. The work environment is fast-paced, and employees will need to manage multiple tasks while ensuring quality and timeliness.
