Job Overview:
SayPro is looking for a Content Collaboration Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with various teams within SayPro—particularly the Marketing Team—to ensure that post-related content is aligned with broader marketing campaigns. By fostering cross-team collaboration, you will help create unified, impactful content that aligns with marketing goals, enhances brand consistency, and drives engagement across all digital channels.
You will work closely with content creators, designers, data analysts, and the marketing team to ensure content strategies are aligned and campaigns run smoothly, ultimately contributing to SayPro’s broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Marketing Team:
- Collaborate on Campaigns: Work directly with the marketing team to understand upcoming campaigns, product launches, promotions, and key messaging. Ensure that post-related content supports these initiatives and is integrated into broader marketing strategies.
- Content Briefings: Participate in campaign kick-offs and brainstorming sessions, providing input on how content can support marketing goals. Ensure that content aligns with the overall tone, style, and objectives of the campaign.
- Timeline Coordination: Align content creation and distribution with marketing timelines. Ensure that posts are delivered on time to meet campaign deadlines and milestones, coordinating with content creators and the marketing team to manage schedules efficiently.
- Content Alignment:
- Content Strategy Integration: Ensure that content aligns with SayPro’s brand voice, tone, and messaging across all platforms. Work with the marketing team to make sure that each piece of content reinforces the brand’s key messaging, positioning, and value propositions.
- Multi-Channel Consistency: Work with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and visuals across all channels, including social media, email newsletters, the SayPro website, and external platforms.
- Adjust Content for Campaigns: Tailor content to suit specific campaign needs, making sure that it resonates with the target audience and is in line with the marketing objectives.
- Collaborate on Content Development:
- Content Creation Input: Offer feedback on content drafts, providing insights on how to better align with marketing goals, target audiences, and campaign messaging. Help ensure that the content meets the strategic needs of the marketing team.
- Creative Collaboration: Work with the creative team (designers, video producers, etc.) to ensure that content visuals, video, and written materials complement one another and align with the marketing team’s vision.
- Content Optimization: Work with the marketing team to optimize content for specific channels. This may include tweaking content for SEO, adjusting the format for different social platforms, or ensuring compatibility with email marketing systems.
- Cross-Functional Team Communication:
- Marketing and Content Alignment: Serve as a liaison between the marketing, content, and design teams to ensure everyone is aligned on messaging, goals, and deliverables. Facilitate communication to ensure that no detail is overlooked and that content fits seamlessly into larger campaigns.
- Regular Check-ins: Set up regular meetings or touchpoints with marketing and other teams to track campaign progress, discuss upcoming content, and address any potential issues. Keep all teams informed and updated on content status, revisions, and approvals.
- Share Campaign Insights: Share campaign performance data and feedback from the marketing team to adjust content strategy as needed. Use data-driven insights to continually refine content for future campaigns.
- Support Campaign Reporting:
- Campaign Metrics Tracking: Work with the marketing team to track the performance of content across campaigns. Help to monitor key metrics, such as engagement rates, click-through rates, conversions, and overall campaign success.
- Report on Content Success: Provide the marketing team with insights into how content is performing within broader campaigns. Offer recommendations for future improvements based on metrics and feedback from the team.
- Enhance Collaboration Tools & Processes:
- Project Management Tools: Utilize project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com) to streamline collaboration and ensure that content-related tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Content Calendar Management: Work with the marketing team to maintain a shared content calendar that includes important campaign dates, content deadlines, and promotional milestones. Ensure all content is planned and executed in alignment with marketing strategies.
- Ensure Seamless Campaign Execution:
- Campaign Launch Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate content launch schedules, ensuring that all content is live and optimized when a campaign is officially launched.
- Monitor Content Performance: Keep track of the performance of content within the context of specific campaigns. Make quick adjustments when necessary, ensuring content is aligned with campaign goals and is resonating with the target audience.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in content strategy, content creation, or digital marketing, with a focus on collaboration between teams.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate content strategies and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Project Management: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com) and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Understanding of Marketing Campaigns: Knowledge of how marketing campaigns work and how content contributes to achieving campaign objectives.
- Content Creation Knowledge: Strong understanding of content creation best practices across various channels (social media, blog posts, newsletters, etc.).
- Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, content, and other teams to ensure alignment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and work proactively to ensure smooth collaboration and timely execution of campaigns.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure that content is aligned with campaign goals, brand guidelines, and is of high quality.
